About
Well what can I say, you should be able to guess my name by now. I currently live on the Monterey Peninsula and am employed by the School of Information Technology and Communication Design at CSU, Monterey Bay as their Technology Coordinator and part-time lecturer. I have taught the Intro to UNIX/Linux course, the UNIX/Linux System Administration course, Python for Programmers course and the Database Applications and Design course.
I was born in Napa, California and grew up in Los Angeles, California. After being a stubborn mule for many years, I went back to school and completed B.S. amd then earned a Masters of Science degree in Management and Information Technology in December of 2006.
Currently, I am in a the Doctoral program in Computer Science at UC Santa Cruz. February 1st, 2010, I am starting a B.A. in Mathematics at Western Governor’s University.
I am currenly divorced (twice), but hope springs eternal and I am engaged to the lovely Elizabeth. I have two children from my first marriage. Their names are Amethyst and Simon. I am 47 years old and am continually surprised that I made it this far considering my lifestyle at various stages of my life. I’ll end this with my favorite sayings, “rationalization is the mother of all inertia!”
